| Chennai is bestowed with a long beach abutting the Bay Of Bengal.The 13 kms long beach is said to be the longest beach in the world.A stroll among the Marina in the evening creates euphoric feelings.At intermediate junctions on this promenade stand beautiful statues of Tamil scholars,patriots and epic personalities.The sea in this part is not recommended for swimming,as the currents are violent. |
